Have You Ever Wondered What Lies Beneath a Habit, Reaction, or Pattern that Feels Automatic?

Smoking Cessation & Addictive Behaviours Therapy

I offer online counselling and clinical hypnotherapy for smoking cessation and addictive behaviours across British Columbia. Together, we can explore the cravings, habits, emotional patterns, and protective strategies that keep a behaviour in place—while creating space for new choices and a greater sense of freedom.

Hypnotherapy can support you in becoming a non-smoker by working with the physical urges and the deeply learned patterns that keep smoking in place. Rather than relying on willpower alone, we can work with cravings, triggers, routines, beliefs, and the emotional associations connected to smoking—while creating space for new responses and, for many people, a greater sense of freedom from cigarettes.

Similar principles can be applied to other persistent patterns, including addictive behaviours (weed, alcohol, vaping, overeating). Through hypnosis and other mind-body techniques, we can explore the ways an addictive behaviour can become intertwined with identity and self-belief, making space for a sense of self that is broader than the behaviour.

Consider how empowering it could be to let go of the identity ‘I am an addict’ and start saying, ‘I used to overuse alcohol, and now I don’t’.

Together we can explore how behaviours can become deeply learned and reinforced over time, while remembering that a behaviour is not who you are.

Sometimes reclaiming your wild begins with remembering that you are more than the patterns that have kept you going. When a habit or addictive behaviour has become woven into your identity, it can be difficult to imagine who you might be without it. Counselling can create space to become curious about what lies beneath the behaviour, reconnect with parts of yourself that may have become quiet or hidden, and discover new choices, possibilities, and freedom.

Is it time to cross that bridge?
